Love your city but can’t stand how chaotic and messy it’s become? Maybe it’s time to get rid of the ‘chalta hain’ nawabi attitude and do your bit to help make it a cleaner place. Check out the group ‘Better Hyderabad’ on facebook, for people who want to see a cleaner, better Hyderabad.

The clubs pilot effort is working towards a ‘Better Goloconda’ and they’ve already made a difference. Apart from cleaning up they also raise the curiosity and awareness levels amongst tourists as to the importance of a ‘cleaner Hyderabad,’ by example.

Initiated by a group of driven youngsters, it boasts of 400 members and 20 really active ones. The members meet every Sunday at a chosen venue all equipped with gloves and garbage bags.

If you believe that our charming city is very unique- a rich and diverse in heritage, then take charge as a true Hyderabadi ‘to preserve, contribute and bring about the change required to make Hyderabad a world class city.’
